Q-Workshop: The Witcher – Leshen (The Totem Builder)

The Witcher Dice Set. Leshen – The Totem Builder

A mighty and terrifying guardian resides at the heart of the forest, born of darkness and a primeval nature. It marks its territory with primitive totems made of sticks, bones, feathers, and antlers which he builds to enhance his primal powers; it is believed to be nature’s way of protecting the forest and the animals within from the threat of humans’ ravaging expansion into the wild lands. With a horned skull for a head and bark-like skin on his long limbs, Leshen roams the woods with peerless ferocity.

This dice set is a tribute to the mysterious leshen, a fiercely territorial and cunning creature residing in primeval woods. Inspired by this enigmatic and powerful creature, we present the Witcher Dice Set: Leshen – The Totem Builder. You’ll find 7 polyhedral dice and a metal coin within this set. Each dice is pearly green with brown engravings, and the highest value faces and the coin reverse depict the leshen’s sinister horned skull accompanied by a swarm of crows. The coin’s obverse and the D20’s highest face are adorned with crows on a dead tree branch, awaiting their master.

The Witcher is more than a profession or a single character. The Witcher is an entire universe created thanks to the stories of Andrzej Sapkowski, in which choices and motives are never simply black and white. Colorful, full of unique charm, rich in non-standard phenomena, and described with lingual artistry, it later became the basis for video games, comic books, tabletop RPGs, as well as movies and TV series. If you know The Witcher from any of these sources, you know how enthralling this universe is. For us — people who grew up with the stories from the world of The Witcher — the possibility to create dice based on its famous and beloved characters is an honor. We have taken our time to carefully consider all the possibilities of both designs and color themes — now visible to you in the form of the final product.
